Wedding: the boys

While we were readying ourselves at Fothergills, Marc and his groomsmen were also preparing on the street directly behind the bed and breakfast. Yep, by an amazing stroke of chance Marc's best man Sebastian lives almost directly behind where us girls were, making it the perfect place for them to suit up. It was really nice seeing this part of the day when we got our photos back as it was the only part of the day where we had separate experiences. I like seeing how the boys practised the 'shim sham' dance (a swing routine) while they waited, and the funny shots of them using a YouTube tutorial to learn how to tie their bow ties.

There's so much joy in these photos and I can really sense Marc's excitement, it makes me smile looking at them all together. I'm glad I got to see his side of the morning and hear the stories long after the actual event was over. And so grateful for these wonderful photos to preserve those memories forever.

  1. Ha! It seems its often the small details that really show how it all came together. I'm loving these posts! The pic of the ipad showing that watched a tutorial = very amusing!
