This is the third and final part to our engagement photo series. We were chasing time as the sun was setting and the light was quickly leaving but we wanted to squeeze in one last scene. This was our attempt at a flash picnic complete with Sherbet cupcakes and a vintage set of Travel Scrabble. Looking back on the photos makes me so happy and I can't believe it was almost two months ago. Boy, how time has flown.

And now we have part two! This one was the most fun to shoot and produced my favourite photos. Christine Lim took us to an old railway station at Whiteman Park and we had a great time balancing on the tracks and poking around.

Today is the wedding rehearsal and dinner, and I think going through the motions is going to make everything feel a lot more real. My stomach fills with butterflies thinking about walking down the aisle, hoping I don't trip on my dress and don't cry too much. Having used to be a singer, you would think that I would be at ease having so many eyes on me but it's quite the opposite - I have extreme stage fright and would much rather blend into the background. But I need to remember to soak up the moment as everyone says it goes by in a flash and I'll be reliving those tiny moments forever.

It's incredible how almost two months have passed since my last entry, and now it's the week of the wedding. Wow. I thought there was no better time than the present to get back into blogging, especially when I already can't sleep out of excitement.

So, finally, here is the first set of photos from our engagement photo shoot with our wonderful photographer Christine Lim. Technically it's more of a pre-wedding shoot as we have been engaged for years, but I like the sound of engagement shoot better. Anyway, one Sunday we took a trip out to Guildford Grammar for this first round of snaps. I love how much direction Christine gave us and I am so happy with how the photos turned out, as I think I am pretty awkward and have one standard pose for photos (look back on past outfit posts if you don't believe me!).

I am going to go a little blog crazy in the week up to the wedding so I hope you don't mind, there's just so much to share in the lead up. Hope you all stay along for the journey!
